When I Wake Up
The most horrifying part of my morning is when I first open my eyes — gingerly, because the morning sun comes in at just the right angle to slip past my blinds and shower my bed — I see my suit. Hanging on the wall, pants and jacket, perfectly still against the off-white walls. And it only takes a moment for the terrible realization to dawn upon me: I will have to wear that suit for eight hours....
